exhibition

looking around the ExhibitionThe exhibition wll be open and staffed from 29th March 2010 - be the first to see our Ospreys come home.

The Osprey exhibition and giant live video screen are located in the Forestry Commission's Whinlatter Visitor Centre in the middle of Whinlatter forest overlooking Keswick. Although the Whinlatter Centre is open all year round, the Osprey Exhibition is open from 10am until 5pm during the period that the ospreys are nesting (usually April to the end of August), when Lake District Osprey Project staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide a guide for what can be seen on the live video. Whinlatter also stocks a book which explains the story of the Bassenthwaite Ospreys with some of the profits going to the project
